Ashanti Douglas, popularly referred to as Ashanti and born in Glen Cove New York United States on the 13th of October, 1980. She is an actress and a performer who hails from her native United States. Ashanti began her professional career as a teenager and ultimately signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. In the same year, she made an appearance in the Fat Joe's What's Luv? song and Ja Rule's Always on Time track, both of which were huge hits. On the 16th of October Hey Baby (After the Club) was released on radio stations as well as digital channels. She played Latasha in Army Wives and starred in the film Christmas in the City. Aitch, a British artist, used her music in his song Rock wit U for Baby on 10 March 2022.
